Form 1041 input was not up to 1040 standards.

I had to use TurboTax Business to obtain a Form 1041. I found this program not as user friendly as Form 1040. I don't file a state tax return, but TurboTax informed me I had to. so from that page, I stopped doing what Turbo Tax required for state. The first time I processed the return I was rejected by the IRS. I spent most of today talking to two TurboTax employees and one IRS employee. The Name, Code and EIN check balance somehow did not match so the form was rejected. I have sent a second e-filing to see if all was corrected.

"Not provided for in program..."

I used 2024 TurboTax Business with State for my trust. For the following items on my K-1 Form 1065 it said “Not provided for in program. Manually enter on appropriate tax form.”
Box 11 Code A Other portfolio income (loss)
Box 19 Code A Cash and marketable securities
Box 20 Code AJ Excess business loss limitation
I buy your products so I don’t have to deal with manual forms. Had I known that I would have to anyway, I would not have purchased TurboTax Business.

Turbotax Business is nothing like the personal tax editions of software. Don't expect much help from the step-by-step. It will get the forms filled out for you if you know what you're doing, but that's about it.
