Turbo Tax Technical Issue

I encountered an error when doing my state taxes. I spent four plus hours on the phone with the support personnel to rectify the issue. The solution was a creative one the second customer service rep devised, while legal is skirted the bounds. I was disappointed to have paid the sum of money I did for the Intuit tax product only to spend four hours plus on the phone with a technical rep to resolve a programming issue.

Business is NOT the same as Home & Business

It took 2 phone calls to get the correct version. I needed Business (an almost secret version) to prepare an Estate return, but the first agent insisted that Home & Business was what I needed. It took the 2nd agent nearly 1.5 hours to get the correct version to download to my computer. Some of that may have been my fault (firewalls), but I've had no difficulty with other programs, including other versions of Turbo Tax. I suspect the fault lies within Business. The program had some typos and places where one must infer what is wanted. Overall, not as slick at the lessor versions. I ended up paying for an upgrade from Deluxe to Home & Business and was charged twice for the Business version. I am confident that we can get that sorted.

Colorado allocation % doesn't pull through correctly and the return review is helpful, but doesn't allow you to easily make changes.
