Missing worksheets in Business software

TurboTax Business software for the 541 California estate income tax return has a software glitch that does not permit The distribution of gains to the beneficiary and results in a Tax being charged to the estate rather than passed on to the beneficiary.
The software needs to provide the option to pass capital gains on to the beneficiary through the K-1 form along with the associated worksheets to accomplish the task.. .
An additional worksheet needs to be created to take the California capital gain amount in schedule D (541) Part II, line 9(b) Fiduciary and move it to line 9(a) Beneficiary so that the gains will be properly allocated to the Beneficiaries through the K-1 form rather than taxed in the Estate.

TurboTax Does Deliver Complete Confidence.

While TurboTax does the big stuff ok, it really misses the mark with providing a complete level of confidence. Federal 1065's are due on March 15th, but the state version can't be filed until after that, which adds annoyance. There are also several items that aren't exactly correct on all of the forms. it's annoying and again does provide complete confidence that entered data is being used as expected.

TurboTax is just the best

I've been using TurboTax for Business for the past 15 years. TT (along with Quickbooks) lets me file my LLC business taxes and get the K-1s out in about 3 hours. Never a problem. Always helpful. Thanks again, TurboTax.
