I'm Hiring a CPA Next Year

I love TurboTax for my personal taxes, but the business edition is horrible. It lacks all the feature that make the home version convenient--inline explanations, detailed prompts to help you get the right information, contextual help within the application, AUTO SAVE (I had to start my deductions over again because it popped up a save window so fast that my mouse inadvertently clicked no before I could read the prompt)!
The help function in the business edition is worthless, it just takes you to the homepage where then you have to spend time figuring out what options to choose that will get you to the answer you need. My business is small and my taxes are pretty simple, but now that the business is growing, I am going to have to hire a CPA--which is ironic because the whole point of this software is supposed to be to make my life easier as things get more complex, not add to the complexity.

still no broker download

you should allow automatic download from Broker like is available for other TurboTax software.

Poor handling of 1031 Exchanges crossing tax year

TurboTax Business does an extremely poor job of handling 1031 exchanges that cross tax year boundaries. Given the window of time allowed for the closing on the replacement property to occur (6 months) this situation should be handled much better

Turbo and Intuit have lost their way

Product not integrated with QB Online, which Intuit forced me to get since they no longer offer QB desktop. I could not import accounting records from QB online, so had to input accounting informations manually. Terrible!!! Integration between Turbo Tax and Quickbooks was a given and made their products user friendly. No they are the opposite. Their support is also terrible. Looking for alternatives.
