TurboTax messes up a simple partnership return.

These comments are about a simple partnership return.
1. I entered all the data in the "step-by-step" system. The "federal review" step in that system did not show any errors. But, when I printed the return and reviewed it myself, I saw that end-of-year Line 21 of Schedule L, Partners' Capital Accounts, differed from Line 9 of Schedule M-2, by more than $1,600, even though those amounts should be equal (as they were at the beginning of the year). The program's federal review step should have highlighted that error. I shouldn't have had to find it myself.
2. Entries other than "Yes" or "No" are required in Schedule B, Questions 17, 18, and 26. The step-by-step input should have allowed, but didn't allow, any of those entries.
3. The program should provide for electronic filing of the Colorado partnership return and K-1s.

Simple and effective. Helpful guides in plain english. However, I wish you could create a version for Mac operating systems. Currently only available for PC. For that I am giving it 4 stars.

There were several procedure changes, which required some research to untangle, from last year. Got it finished, now have serveral more to do.

I've used Turbo Tax Business - Desktop since 2012. When you find something that works why would I want to change. Turbo Tax works.

I had difficulty loaded my purchased Business Turbo Tax. When I logged on to my TurboTax account, I thought I could add the purchased item, but I had to re-due all of the information again

It was semi easy to follow, just not wise to use with tired eyes. it's been over 20 years since I've done taxes myself and it was personal taxes at that.

Turbo tax is asking more of users this year.

Every year I'm having to make more and more manual adjustments to the return. This year I had to manually transfer some items from last year's return. Turbo tax, if you are listening, please try harder and work with greater care.
