I love my new Delta 2. The Delta 2 is a second generation update of the original Ecoflow Delta 1300. It's many improvements include longer lasting much safer LFP Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, an expansion battery port, more solar input (500W) and an even faster charging time than before. They have made many noticeable improvements under the hood as well, integrating circuit boards to cut costs and keep the same weight (LFP batteries are heavier!), improving efficiency - yet the Delta 2 is less expensive than the original Delta 1300! I have two Delta 1300's from the original kickstarter campaign - they really revolutionized the solar generator business and set a standard all the legacy companies have since been trying to catch up with. Before Ecoflow solar generators looked not unlike modified gasoline generators - that is industrial and clunky. But the Delta 2 like the rest of the line, look much more friendly, they blend ergonomically into any home environment rather than looking out of place like they really belong in the garage. But the killer feature has been the fast charging. The group of 20 somethings that founded Ecoflow had worked at drone maker DJI together, and observed the biggest pain factor was how long it took to recharge batteries. And so they figured out fast flash recharging in under 2 hours, 1.6 hours on the original Delta. The new Delta 2 can flash recharge now even faster than the original, in an hour and 20 minutes, all Ecoflow solar generator charge in under 2 hours, even in an hour for some, yet there are still competitors out there that take over 10 hours plugged into the wall. I did observe that when the Delta 2 is cool it charges a lot faster. Checking the internal temperature with the phone app to be 96°f, it charged at near 1200 watts on the meter, slowing down a bit at 80%, eventually fully charging in exactly an hour and 20 minutes as advertised. However if you discharge it at a very high output it heats up the batteries (I did a torture test and ran it at 1200 watts flat to 0%, with a hair drier in 30 minutes.) Then you have to let it cool down before it will recharge. After a cool down rest period, the still somewhat warm Delta 2 charged at a steady 600 watts the whole way. It took a little longer at 2 hours, but no complaint here. Great improvements, nice price point, expandable, lasts longer. If you are a fan of these kind of devices - you will love your new Delta 2 too I think!

We live on rural Whidbey Island in Puget Sound near Seattle which has many wind storms and frequent 24+ hour power outages in the winter. We have had a small somewhat unreliable gas generator for several years and it was time to upgrade. After doing research it became obvious that the Delta 2 would be the best choice. The Delta 2 with solar panels arrived yesterday. It was very easy to set up and the App works well too. We did a test run of the Delta 2 yesterday evening. It went from 30% to 100% charge in just under an hour. Great! This means we can use our small gas generator only to charge the Delta 2 during extended outages. We ran the Delta 2 for several hours powering lights, a TV, Wi-Fi, and 2 small devices. Everything worked fine and no flickering lights or TV which we sometimes had with the gas generator. And we didn't have to run the noisy polluting gas generator. I expect to have a much more tolerable storm season this winter because of the Delta 2.

I received my EcoFlow Delta 2 a few days ago. It was well packaged and delivered promptly. The initial charge (out-of-the-box) was 28%. I plugged this into my wall outlet and was amazed to see the charge power ramp up to about 1200 watts - absolutly amazing to see my new purchase charge this fast. Some folks have mentioned the loud fans. This is what I expected for the exceptional charge speed in this size package. I have been following EcoFlow for quite some time, waiting for the newer and safer battery technology to evolve with this product and the Delta 2 was worth the wait. I am a Ham Radio Operator and plan to use this as one of my remote, off-grid power options. My future plans will include the solar option with my Delta 2. Thank you EcoFlow.

Reliable off grid addition

Having owned several brands of portable batteries for our off grid solar living, I was pleased to receive the DELTA 2 addition recently. The battery is extremely fast charging,
reliable, and as advertised. Well designed and the app is a plus for monitoring. I love that it is lithiumFE battery based which will allow many cycles of charging.

Picked up the Delta 2 just in time to put it to the test in a power outage. Ran a full size refrigerator in the garage for several hours at an ambient temperature of about 60 F.
Plan to pick up the extra battery for extra insurance or to run a freezer as well.
Charging from AC was lightning fast but a bit noisy. Hope a firmware update in the future can help with the fan speed. Couldn't be easier to set up and get going, plug and play. Highly recommended!

Very impressed by the quality feel of the unit. Also very impressed by the packaging very nicely boxed with hard foam inserts. Out of the box unit had 30% charge I’ve only been charging for a short time and I’m already at 72% very impressive.

Purchased this Delta 2 about a week ago and have had a few days to play around with it. Really nice so far. Got it as a gift for my mom for power outages. It was able to power her full size refrigerator overnight. I plan on using solar panels to recharge but haven't had a chance to test yet. From what I've seen on other reviews it doesn't seem we'll have a problem.
