Thoughts from a utility-scale battery integrator

Overall this is an excellent unit with plenty of features and options to customize how you want to use it. I'm personally using it for smaller devices so the 1800W capacity is nice but not necessary. New firmware updates have been brining even more features to the unit which is a plus. I tested the battery capacity and it exceeded the 1024 Wh stated capacity, so you're getting what you pay for. Also the LiFePO4 battery chemistry is far superior to other cell chemistries and is what utility-scale battery storage containers are using.
Solar charging works extremely well. I was using (4) 100W Ecoflow panels in the winter and was able to get about 395 Watts using my professionally mounted patio chairs.
Here's some of my recommendations to get the most life out of you battery: - If you're storing it for long periods of time, maintain the charge around 40%. - Most utilities set the charge settings to be 98% and discharge down to 2% and they cycle batteries almost daily. I'm not running my unit that hard but keep the 2% and 98% setting the same. - Minimize the depth of discharge. Discharging from 100% to 0% will degrade the battery faster than discharging from 100% to 50%. If you're cycling the battery every day I'd recommend doing further research. - Enable slow charging. It adds less thermal stress to the components and there's no point to use the fast charge unless you're in a hurry. - You may notice it will discharge for a while around 0-1%. The same thing happens with grid-scale batteries. I would recommend discharging the battery fully, recharging to 100%, then discharging it back to 0% at least 2 times. This will help train the the battery control unit to be more accurate.
Other observations: - The unit is fairly heavy but the carry handles are well built and I felt comfortable carrying it one-handed by a single handle. -I use the unit for powering my modem/router and the UPS feature switches fast enough so they maintain power upon loss of AC to the unit. There is a very short delay (30ms I think per the manual) so critical non-capacitive loads may cut out. - The fan is fairly loud/high pitch around the max output. Around 1000 watts it sounds like a regular fan. - There is an 'AC Always On' setting. This will keep the AC outlet relay energized and will slowly drain the battery, even if no AC loads are on.

I waited for this power station to hit the market. Having owned several smaller Ecoflow power stations and some from another well-known brand, I like the Eco-flow better. It charges much faster and has an app that I can use to see how much power is left when it is out of reach in the back of the truck. It was a little more pricey but since it should last 3000 cycles instead of the 800 cycles of the Delta originals, makes this a better purchase. I just tried it out on my 2007 21cu ft house refrigerator and it lasted 12 hrs and had 10% power remaining. I also bought the extra smart battery but haven't yet used it.

Eggcelent for glamping and emergency power around the house. Made breakfast Sunday morning, Keurig✓ induction hot plate for eggs✓ toaster oven✓ and microwave bacon✓ Not all at the same time of course. But it did it all. My wife was impressed! We have a 200 watt folding panel for glamping and ordered 400 watts of glass panels for house. My only complaint. Those fans a little loud under full load. Still loving it.

This is a great compact generator. I bought this to use as a emergency backup for my refrigerator also to use for my portable car dual zone refrigerator. So far Ecco flo delta 2 has been great . The only thing I wish was that the handles was folded in the top of the unit which would cut down on the length of the unit. I find myself using it more than I had planned.

I bought this Delta 2 solar generator in November with two 220 watt solar panels. It runs the freezer all day and evening. Even on an overcast day it charges 88 watts while the freezer uses 47. Next step is a Delta Max extra battery so it will run 24/7

Hi, EcoFlow! I've already mentioned to your support, that your products are amazing. Be a Ukrainian and do not know the brand - it's a shame (: I bought Delta2 and Extra Battery 3 months ago and these guys help every day to survive the power outage and stay online, with heat and light. Really convenient to use. Look and feel are great. Efficiency is the top.
Works as described! Well designed compact unit with all the necessary ins and outs. I would have given it 5 stars except the solar panel to battery connector wasn’t included, though every other kind of connector was! Since I bought it with the portable solar panel, it would have been nice to have that Included, or at least to have been notified that I’d need to purchase that connector.
I'm not a gadget person. When I got the DELTA 2, I found it easy to follow the instructions to charge it and discharge it, running various appliances. Laptops were fully powered in a couple of hours. I plan to use it at home during power outages, so, not very often, but I will make sure to follow the maintenance instructions. I love that the unit recharges so quickly. I thought the DELTA 2's heat and noise when running were mild, very acceptable. The unit feels sturdy and has convenient handles for moving it. I like the EcoFlow phone app. I made a cheat sheet for my own appliances (e.g. freezer, single cooktop, etc.) so I know what I can power with it, and for about how long. I keep the cords, instructions, etc. in a pouch attached to the unit.
