A handy tool to keep hard floors clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wet and dry vacuum makes it easier to keep my hard floors clean since it offers a combination of vacuum, dusting, and mopping capabilities in one machine. I like that I can run it as a dry vacuum to get up all the loose dirt and dust, then just dump that stuff, add water and cleaning solution, and easily mop to get a more thorough clean. I personally wouldn't bother to pull this out for a spot clean, such as a pet or kid mess, but for an overall floor cleaning it's great! It's easy to use with a very quick glance at the directions and emptying the compartment that holds dirt and dirty water is simple. I did have to refill the clean water and cleaning solution three times in the process of cleaning my dining room, kitchen, and hallway/bath because that compartment on the vacuum is relatively small. But it's still much less of a pain than dealing with ringing out a mop and freshening up mop water. The battery lasted for about an hour, which included run time and the stops for refills, and it was just enough time to clean what I wanted. Cleaning out the machine after use was simple and I love the built in brush roll cleaning feature and the fact that the charging base has a spot to store the mop roll while it dries. I was given this wet and dry vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I appreciate the opportunity to try out a product that I would have never thought to purchase otherwise. It's a nice addition to my cleaning arsenal, and that comes from someone who dislikes cleaning and hates mopping!

Nimble and useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CrossWave OmniForce Edge is a solid, well-built wet and dry vac with many pros. I was given this wet and dry vacuum to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I'm so glad I was, because it's now part of my regular household cleaning routine. The great: It's lightweight and nimble (especially when compared with a more traditional vacuum going up and down stairs), cordless, and has a completely intuitive design. I read the quick start guide and the instruction manual when it arrived, because I like that kind of thing, but I could have easily just switched it on and figured it out -- it's that straightforward. I also love that it takes up limited floorspace when charging, which is very helpful for small spaces, especially if you're storing it in a pantry or similar. It did a fabulous job in the wet vac mode cleaning our hardwood floors -- they were gleaming, and it refreshed our rugs nicely. A few things to know: The vacuum has a limited run time, and there isn't a way to run it in a corded mode. For me, this makes it more suited to quick jobs than a full house clean. The parts need time to dry after using the wet vac mode, so you have to dry vacuum everything first and then wet vac after, which can mean moving furniture twice. Cleaning the vacuum after each use is a little involved with several parts to remove, rinse, and then let dry for 24 hours. A couple of the parts need to be replaced every few months (filters, mop brush heads). The edge cleaning was good, but not as good as a crevice tool on a traditional vacuum, and this doesn't come with any attachments -- an upholstery brush would be an awesome addition. All in all, while it won't replace my regular vacuum for the reasons above, I really liked this wet-dry vac as an everyday tool for quick jobs, to refresh rugs in between deeper shampoos, and to make my hardwood floors shine.

Handy and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I first received this CrossWave Omniforce Edge I felt slightly overwhelmed at the instructions for different jobs, cleaning, disassembling & reassembling, etc. However, let me put your mind at ease; it is not difficult. The first time I followed the directions & realized it was actually quite intuitive to assemble & disassemble for cleaning and not overwhelming at all. After using many times, I really love this thing. It's light weight, I absolutely love that it's cordless, and I can get several cleaning tasks accomplished in the time it stays charged. I have used it to clean kids messes in the (both dry and wet) in the kitchen and dining room, many times on sticky messes left from drippings in the kitchen, to clean up pet hair, kitty litter, footprints, and cat messes, especially around the litter box. Each use has been super handy and saves me having to use multiple cleaning methods for each area. I do sometimes forget that I need to do all of my dry cleaning/Power Vac Mode (such as on low rugs) first because after you use the Power Mop Mode you'll need to clean and let parts dry for 24 hours before doing those areas. So be sure to do any dry only areas first before getting the wet areas. TheCrossWave Omniforce edge was able to very easily and efficiently get right up the edges of the floor/molding without leaving a strip that doesn't get clean. That's a huge benefit for me. Because of its light weight and the way the head tilts it's also very easy to maneuver in smaller spaces. It doesn't lay down quite as far as I'd like for under furniture but I have been able to reach most places without moving things around. Overall the suction and cleaning power is very good. On more difficult areas it's a good idea to make several small passes back and forth. I haven't had a mess yet that it hasn't tackled well. It leaves the floor just damp and quickly dries. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet & dry vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review. The packaging and directions were super easy to get the vacuum unpacked and ready for use. You do need to charge it for about an hour before the first use which was a bit hard because I was excited to get started! I was impressed by how easy it was to add water and begin cleaning the floors. I loved not having to sweep first and just jumping straight into 'mopping'. The Crosswave Omnifirce Edge is lightweight and easy to push. I was able to use it around my oven and even a toilet which is pretty tight quarters. If you have something that's kinda caked on a little, you may need to run the vacuum over it steadily for a bit. But it gets the job done. I was really impressed by how sparkly the floors got. I have cats so lots of hair and a toddler so lots of everything that can be thrown. I also really like that you can turn off the water feature and just rely on the vacuum if you want to pass it over an area rug. That's so much easier than dragging out a 2nd machine. Now the gross part of all mop vacuums - emptying the used water tank. I like to empty the tank directly into the toilet and flush it. There's a little filter thing that I think is supposed to be helpful in straining out the 'gunk'. I personally found it a little hard to reach and not very helpful. But it is satisfying to see how much filth you've gotten off your floors!

I LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never in a million years thought I would have appreciated this wet-dry vac as much as I do! You don't realize that with traditional mops, all you are really doing is spreading the mess on the floor and barely picking it up. With the wet-dry vac, you can see the murky brown water in the tank from picking up all of the dirt that is on the floor. Overall impression of the OmniForce Edge wet-dry vacuum? LOVE IT! Never again will we go back to using traditional mops.. It was impressive how I was able to skirt corners very closely and the mop was able to vacuum up moisture super close to the walls. First time using it, I swept the floor before using the vacuum mop, but realized after the fact that I don't have to anymore! It will sweep and mop in the same session! After cleaning the floors, you do have to dump the dirty water and it was incredibly easy to rinse out the dirty tank and use it right away! With 2 toddlers under 4, we have put this through the ringer. From milk, juice and water spills, all the way to cereal, apple sauce and spaghetti sauce. All of which was easily cleaned with the wet-dry vacuum mop. All in all, I highly encourage this and am planning to use it for as long as possible! I received this product as part of Stellar product testing panel.

Great Wet-Dry Vac for Easy Clean-ups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet and dry vacuum! This wet and dry vacuum is a great addition for easy clean ups for our home but I can definitely see it as a great everyday vacuum and mop combination for those who do not have a lot of space to store multiple devices and need a combination vacuum/mop, for those who want to save time, and for those who have regular spills and messes on hard surfaced floors. When using this vacuum, I was surprised by the weight of it. It is much heavier than I expected considering the slim size of the vacuum. The installation and set up was easy and quick thanks to the simple quick guide instructions. I love the cordless feature as it makes it convenient for easy clean ups around the house. The solution you use in the water tank works great and helps give the house a clean scent after use. The clean edge technology was a great perk as it's always difficult to get messes and grime close to the walls. The suction power was pretty good for the size of the vacuum and it being cordless. I mainly used it in the kitchen which is the heaviest traffic room in our home and the vacuum was easy to manuever and got all the dirt, dust, and grime off the floor that I could see with my naked eye. When using the mop feature, I did wish that the brush itself was possibly thicker in order to mop better but it definitely does the job. The stand to hold the mop attachment is a great feature as well in order to avoid mold and mildew. The clean up was also quick and easy thanks to the quick guide instructions. Overall a great wet-dry vacuum that I would continue to use for quick clean ups around the house and would recommend for anyone looking for a compact simple to use wet-dry vacuum.

Holds up to dogs and kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this wet and dry vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We could not be happier! The two in one vacuum and mop are really easy to toggle between. The vacuum pulls in the dog hair as you approach it, almost looks like a magnet sucking it in. This helps avoid build up on baseboards. The wet vac part has been so great for quick easy kid spills; most recently cereal and milk. It not only picks it up but it cleans the area as well. The battery life is great, and we can clean our entire house (2,700sqft) on one charge. For what it is, it's also quite light and quiet. I was not in the market for this, but being able to test it out, I will never go just a vacuum again. It also transitions onto our area rugs well, and I have yet to run into an issue with dog hair or rug clean up clogging it. It's so easy to clean, take parts apart and then reassemble. Not a function of the product but I still don't know the best place to empty the dirty water/debris! I've been using water and vinegar to clean the floors and it's such a quick and smooth process; it doesn't soak it too much so dry time is also quick, which is great with kids and dogs already running over it immediately.

Versatile Vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're in the midst of toddler messy-ness I highly recommend this vacuum. I previously used another wet dry vac that I felt wasn't as effective and left more streaks/dirt when using the wet feature. I was able to use this after my 2.5 year old dropped a camp science project that left oil and seeds on the floor and it was made cleaning much easier than the usual multiple product situation I find myself in. It was relatively to use straight out of the box but I found myself reviewing directions just to make sure I didn't make any set up mistakes. Definitely a great addition to our house.
