Needs a better brush!

I was so excited for this model. My complaints on the old model were the cord and it leaving a 1"gap trying to clean floors. While the gap isn't nearly as big, the brush is so useless. I truly didn't even think about it while looking at all the models. They say it's multi surface, so I assumed the brush would be similar to the other styles. But no, it's just a soft brush, no stiff bristles. I just don't feel like it's doing any cleaning on the rugs with that brush. It also would pick up a dried spot mess (less than 1/4" big) because it had no scrubbing power. I figured I could just order a different style brush on their website, but nope! They don't have one that's compatible. Please come out with a better brush for this machine Bissell!

Almost loved it but tank leaked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vac mop was super easy to use and cut my cleaning time in half since I didn't have to vacuum and mop separately. It worked really well for quick refreshers (like under the table after meals) and accidental spills (like a dropped cereal bowl!). And I could clean all the floors quickly and easily at the end of the day. The edge cleaning was great for under the baseboards. It lays almost flat enough to get under my counter stools but not quite. The suction and mopping worked great for wet messes and general crumbs. It did OK for heavier/stickier messes like oatmeal. It did not pick up dried on spots like old jello...I had to go back and scrub that by hand. I love that it is cordless and has a charging base. It makes it super easy to grab for quick clean up. The dirty tank was easy to clean out and I liked the debris filter/scoop to keep solid crumbs out of my garbage disposal. I also love the concept of the self-cleaning cycle, but every time I run it the dirty water tank leaks and sprays the floor! This is a deal breaker for me on an otherwise great addition to my cleaning equipment. I received this product from the Stellar Product testing panel in exchange for my honest review. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

The vacuum sucked in a good way!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet and dry vacuum. I absolutely had a great time getting to know this product! The vacuum worked wonderfully! Glided well, lightweight, fun on/ off noises and kept a long charge. It vacuumed very well over my rugs without the turbo on. My favorite part of this product was the charging station. The instructions were nice and clear making it fairly easy to put together and how to use as well. I am only giving this a 3 star because I think the mopping feature needs some improvement. Once you use the mopping feature the battery starts to drain quickly. It left a lot of streaks on several types of surfaces. After you are finished with a job the dirty water plus debri are in the same containers making it very difficult to clean out especially with pet hair. I still use the vacuum daily and works great, however I have no intention to continue useing it to mop.

Loved it until it broke

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The edgeless is one sided, it holds little water/waste, I washed the scrubber in the machine and it came unscrewed and lost the small screw (basically something else to break). Ok product but almost no major improvements over normal crosswise for half the price.

Leaves floors wet

This is the worst Bissell mop vac I've ever owned. I've only used it 5 times. It's clean and suction is good when tested. I had a cheaper older version that was great but it quit working after a year. I bought this to get water off the floor from my dogs but the Omni force only minimally suctions water going forward and not all going backwards. it automatically dispenses cleaner so my floors are more wet than when I started. Very disappointing. The older crosswave had a trigger and my floors looked polished and felt so clean after. Unable to return it as I discarded the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the ease of use and ability to perform dry and/or wet vac. However, the 1/2 plastic piece that is used to attach the roller left a 1/2 inch area that was not cleaned and left a 1/2 inch void in the wet feature. This resulted in streaks. Additionally the edge technology did not work. There was a large gap at my baseboards again leaving streaks when mopping. I had to return and pay for a return label even though the machine didn't work. Very dissapointed.

Great for kitchen messes

My kids are constantly throwing food on the ground and make such a huge mess during meals. The food is always wet or damp so I can't use a regular vacuum to vacuum it up and when I use a broom it just spreads the mess around. I always had to go on my hands and knees to clean the mess. Since getting this machine, cleaning up after meal time has been so much easier! I love how it can quickly pick messes and quickly mops my floor. It's really easy to use and it's fairly easy to clean the machine as well. The turbo mode even got rid of dried stuck on food. If you have young kids that make a huge mess during mealtimes this machine is a game changer! I also love how this machine is cordless. It makes going from room to room so much easier. This machine is lightweight and not bulky at all. I have a separate vacuum I use for heavy duty use, but this vacuum did a good job picking everything up. The basin is also really easy to empty out after vacuuming. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet and dry vacuum.
