Handy Wet/Dry Vac for Routine Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Crosswave is a handy device for quick spills and routine cleaning, especially in high travel areas like my kitchen. My favorite feature is the Omniforce Edge; I love being able to get the crumbs closer to the wall by just approaching things at the proper angle; no slamming the vacuum into the baseboards to get crumbs on the perimeter. For daily/weekly cleaning, the Bissell is my new star device. It's so easy to vacuum and mop in 1 step that my floors have never been more regularly clean. You do have to dump the dirty water, clean the pieces, and let them dry for 24 hours. I dislike having to clean my vacuum but it is a time saver and easier than a mop and bucket. I spilled a full coffee and had it cleaned quickly without wasting paper towels, staining my kitchen towels or leaving sticky residue. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet and dry vacuum. The Bissell worked on all types of floor in my home, including area rugs picking up smashed in goldfish, dried up spaghetti, and crumbs. For tough spots on hard surfaces, it needed a few passes, soaking, and a final pass, even on high power. I have 4 other upright vacuums: 1 corded, 2 cordless, and 1 cordless wet/dry: -Power: Neither the Bissell nor the other cordless can compete with the power of the corded. This is for weekly/daily cleaning needs, not enough for the occasional deep clean -Con- Picking up Goldfish/Cheerios: Neither the Bissel nor other cordless are able to pick them up whole; I have to smash them first -Use: Bissell is easy to maneuver, great at cleaning edges, easy to use (4 buttons: on/off, wet, more power, self-clean). When propped upright, it turns off. When tilted, it turns on again! Amazing for stopping to pick up another Lego before your next swipe. Easy to empty the debris bin; the debris catcher was brilliant for saving Legos and letting me throw away the dog hair separately from the dirty water -Con-Difficult to reassemble the head cover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so shocked with the efficiency of CrossWave OmniForce. It is cordless allowing me to move all around the house without having to worry about reaching the end of the cord and stopping to move plugs. I found the battery life to be long enough to do my whole downstairs about 1300sqft. It is also great for quick post dining cleanups with a toddler who finds throwing food on the ground amusing. The suction picks up all of my pets' fur and my hair too. We are currently growing grass in our yard so the dogs drag in more dirt than normal and this vacuum has been saving the day. It is great to not have to sweep and mop separately saving this working mom of 2 much needed time. The self clean feature is great and has kept the rollers from getting that mildew smell common with wet/dry vacuums. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet and dry vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wet/dry vacuum mop truly cuts my cleaning time in half! My old process was to use a stick vacuum everywhere and then mop, but now I only have to go over my floors with one item instead of two. It also cleans much better than my old steam mop... I was shocked at how dirty the water in the reservoir was when I emptied it out, and seeing it gave me confidence that this thing is truly cleaning my floors and not just pushing dirt around! I LOVE that one of the edges cleans right up to the baseboards, and that the machine is slim enough to fit under the lip of the cabinets in the kitchen. That "edge" is 110% worth buying this model over the others so you don't have to bend over to wipe those areas by hand or get out a broom! At first I was nervous that the estimated battery life is only 30 minutes, as we have a 3000 sq ft home and the entire downstairs is hard surface. But it has plenty of charge time to clean the entire downstairs and I usually still have about 30% battery left when I'm done! And that's with using the "turbo mode" for half of the surfaces! The modes on the machine are super easy and intuitive to switch between and the turbo mode works great for areas where our toddler eats or does crafts. The ability to just use the vacuum only mode is great too when the dog drags in all the grass clippings in the summer. It's very easy to empty and refill the water/solution (I have to switch out the water once halfway through to finish cleaning our downstairs.) It's also easy to clean when I'm done using it and I appreciate the self cleaning feature to make sure no gunk stays trapped inside the machine! Overall I think the Crosswave Omniforce Edge is a must have for any home with hard surfaces, but particularly if you have little ones! Our extra time as parents is so scarce and valuable and the fact that this cleans so well in half the time would make the investment on one of these completely worth it! I'm a Mom of 3 boys and I have a dog who loves to roll around in mud, this vacuum has been a life changer! You can easily vacuum and mop all at once using this extremely effective and efficient product. The first time I used it I decided to clean my kitchen, half bath and laundry room. What would normally take me 45 or more minutes took me 30, plus my floors were cleaner than after I mop. I was thoroughly impressed with the ease of moving right to moping without having to fill up a bucket and get a mop. I was shocked by how much the vacuum is able to suction up and hold as well as how dirty the water was after I moped with it. It was also very easy to clean the machine once I was done using it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this vacuum! I was given this wet and dry vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Not only it's mobile and light, it's very simple to clean. I hate having to clean vacuums after use, but they make this one super easy. Also having a dock that can not only charge your vacuum, but it has a built-in drying rack for the roller. That was a nice touch. Edge function is phenomenal when picking up pet hair. I have a 70lb dog that sheds constantly and the CrossWave OmniForce Edge picks up every corner and edge of our house. This became a MUST have product at our household and I recommend it 100% to anyone!

I have used my Crosswave 4 times so far. I feel pretty meh about it. The cordless option is nice. I like that I don't have to vacuum up all the small particles or clusters of pet hair before using it. But overall there isn't anything that I've really found impressive about it. The battery life is just okay. The solution and dirty water tanks are waaay too small and send out notifications multiple times during a cleaning to either empty them or refill making the whole process take longer. Even on the lowest setting. My biggest complaint is that it desperately needs a scrub brush attachment. I have tile floors and if there is anything that has dried on them this soft roller brush isn't coming close to cleaning it off without sitting the machine right on top off it for an extended period of time and even then it is hit or miss. I need a scrub brush option. I'm also having a lot of problems with streaking but I have smooth tile floors and that has been a problem with other machines as well so not solely a Crosswave issue but it hasn't solved the problem either. I also wish there was a way I could control when it dispenses more cleaner because it is automatic (no trigger to squeeze) with this machine and sometimes I just want it to suck up a little extra liquid instead of applying more. Overall it is just okay. I'm not planning on returning it but I wouldn't rave about it to anyone else either. Oh, and if you are wondering it does not clean the grout but I didn't expect it to so no surprise there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my everyday vac as we have two little kids and are constantly cleaning up spills and crumbs all day long. This vac is lightweight but mighty and does a GOOD job cleaning. My kids are able to maneuver the vacuum themselves to give a sense of how light it is. The clean edge technology get close to borders but there is a tinyyyy line that it doesn't get to. We cleaned spills and the cleaner provided works well for it. I thought I would miss using the handheld vac I have but that wasn't the case. I'd recommend this to all and glad I was able to test this product via Stellar Product Testing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a mop and the CrossWave Omni Force Edge fit the bill! The battery lasts a good long while, the suction combined with the soft head gets all the little bits and dirt off my hardwood floors. Our house has a very hairy dog and I recommend vacuuming or sweeping before using the mop feature. Otherwise you end up with a lot of wet hair to deal with. But the edge technology got really close to all the baseboards so that's super nice. Like any wet vac, changing out the dirty water is a little gross but that's to be expected. I like the fill feature on the back of the cross wave - it's easy to fit under almost any faucet so I don't need to be in my kitchen to refill. Wish I had gotten one of these sooner! I was given this wet and dry vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
