Another year and another personal and business taxes have been completed and uploaded! The use of the personal 1040 software for my tax needs is always convenient Swift and a snap.
Unfortunately using the premium portion of the tax software for our partnership the 1065 tax submission is a lot more complicated and slow and always fraught with lots of error corrections to make that really seemed to come out of nowhere. I believe that some work has to be done on the interview portion of the partnership and LLC software.
It takes too long to get to that filing button to upload the tax return.

The program is good for putting together all of the necessary information to do your taxes.
I got to the Review section of the Federal tax form, and it kept reporting to me that something was wrong. It didn't give me a link where I could go to what was wrong, though. It showed me some line on some form. I re-entered my tax information from scratch 3 times in an effort to find out what was wrong! That is very difficult to accept. I do not know if I got it right in the end, and that is difficult to accept too.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Lot of bugs. Software is not user friendly and is stiff. Got IRS rejection code that HRBlock could not explain. I had to research to find answer. Product has declined yearly. I've been a user for 10+ years. Will be looking elsewhere for tax software.
