not as good as previous versions

had an error in my previous year AGI as used as a signature - was unable to correct the mistake. Had to start over from the beginning - six agonizing hours UUUUGH! insult to injury -I was charged twice to submit the State Return.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I will not buy again

Your program caused my 2016 federal return to be rejected because the software took an AGI from a fake 2015 return . The fake2015 return was generated with your software and had never been sent to the irs or electronically signed. The Font size is a pain to change and requires me to adapt my display rather than program adapting to my display settings.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used H & R Block Software for many years. I have been audited once and I got a refund after the audit. There are a few glitches that I have had to work through and probably no fault of the software but just time-consuming.
Cons: Time consuming
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product, been using it since before you started mailing it to my door every year, and it was called TaxCut :)
Makes return so easy, importing everything from previous years, including all of my self-owned side business depreciables, remembers what car I use for business, what home office I use, and the list goes on and on...EXCEPT...

For my state return I have to provide my driver's license info, and then I have to provide it again when filing federal, two separate places on the same return. I usually take awhile between filling out state and filing anything to make sure everything is in order and give myself a few days to remember anything I forgot to expense/deduct. My wife rolls her eyes at me when I ask her to drag out her license again a few days after first asking for it, and one year she even COMPLAINED!
Save me from the torture of a slightly bemused wife, H&R Block! Please populate the driver's license info so I will never ever have to deal with this emotional rollercoaster of slight inconvenience! At least, until I ask her to iron my shirts next ;)
Seriously though, 5 stars, guys. Great program!

Very easy to use

I bought it today and within an hour and a half my return was filed and accepted by the it's and it cost me $300 less than if I paid someone to do them for me
Cons: Time consuming
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Maximizes refund, Fast

Two things:
1. The second look should be given not after the return has been filed but before as part of the benefits of using hr block.
2. The software should suggest different ways of getting a higher refund such as the tuition credit. The system should have suggested that I take the $4000 credit which would lower my adjusted income vs the American or tuition credit. I got $600 more taking the $4000 vs the other method.

Happy Tax Payer

As a long time user of Tax Cut and now H&R Block tax software, I am still very
pleased with using the programs. As a first year trial E-Filer and have every year,
it is a joy to file online and spend only a few days doing taxes....not the weeks it used to take me doing paper filings. Using your tax software makes going thru all my receipts etc. a breeze. Going back for review and additions makes the program a
must for someone with reams of things to be filed.
Thanks again for so much help. Keep up the fine product.

A couple deficiencies

User cannot toggle between Federal & State returns to seek info for State.
Information given in State does not automatically revert to Federal, i.e., driver's license data.
When an error is flagged, why cannot the correction be put directly on that screen instead of needing to fish around for the original entry?
