Really easy to use! The interview questions lead me through exactly what I need. Our situation was more complicated this year, but the software was still really manageable. Also appreciate how easy it is to navigate around my return when I need to go to other steps in the process.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

I have been using this software for many years, since it was Kiplinger's Tax Cut on the cover. I do other family taxes as well and have always been able to do them correctly, even with the various situations that have arisen over the years. I would not consider changing to a competitor.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Attempted to use this software for a straightforward trust return. Kept getting errors - invalid date. Kept complaining that fields I did not need to enter were blank. Uninstalled. Used a different product and it was a breeze.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Did not like that when I answered interview questions they were not populated on the form and then at the end they showed as errors. Used turbo tax last year and i was able to compete my llc return in less than a day. This year it took me twice as long and had to get my accountant fried to fix my k-1’s as I could not get them correct. Again this was way easier on TurboTax.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Ok for personal taxes, but not for business taxes

The personal product was fine, but the business product barely worked, and will likely cost a lot of business owners a lot of money on overlooked/missing items (ex: Section 199 Schedule K entries).
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
