I have used this for 2 years an plan on using for many years to come. Great product easy to follow the steps in filing taxes urself
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Every year the software gets harder to use and harder to review what has been entered. I ended up entering amounts in error that the software should have caught.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Very slow system response when reviewing downloaded large numbers of 1099B investment sales. I needed to wait for more than 30 seconds to review next transaction in order to get rid of "!" mark as required for the app.
Pros: Easy to import documents

The software never prompted me to insert the business edition! I picked S-Corp in the interview and it proceeded to do the Schedule-C in the regular personal tax software. Well, $30,000 in IRS and state tax penalties later, I realize I should have used the business software. Why am I allowed to complete everything in the personal software and never guided towards the business software?

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

You can do it! Dont waste money paying someone else. The software prompts the user to download the most current tax info. I was totally confident in the correctness of my return and the program when completed. Even if you think your life may be too complex... 2 W2’s, 2 1099’s, one C-corp, and a son in college with 2 W2’s himself !

1 HUGE draw back is there should be an entry form to copy a K-1 form to so it can be translated to the proper tax forms
