Good software, with a few persistent difficulties.

The business version is still considerably less user-friendly than the basic one. Finding last year’s return to import is always difficult, but this year it just wasn’t there, even though I used default locations. Entering passive loss carryforwards is not working at all. Clearing some warnings is tedious, since the interview clearly neglected to ask some of the Yes/No questions the first time, when it should have. Otherwise, the interview is almost as good as the basic edition, and the Business edition has never produced an audit issue for me. I am a loyal H&R preparer, but there are clearly some missed testing points, once again.
The software for individuals works quite well, but the business side is lacking. In my review, I often find missing or erroneous information generated from the interview. This requires opening the forms and filling in or correcting the information. Timeliness of IRS approval of HRBlock forms is also poor year after year. The K1 in the 1040 program wasn’t available until March.
I've used H&R Block Premium and Business for about 6 years and have been overall happy. There's quirks I notice each year, I just deal with them. It's probably about as good as any other tax prep. software on the market.
Wish the price just included one efile for state. And maybe one question to a pro. But other than that, it's great. I do a couple of businesses, and then my personal, and that's the worst I can say. If I can do my own taxes, and save hundreds, anyone can.
