I bought personal and business. Business software will not open - runs into fatal error, even after uninstall and reinstall. Personal software asked me to do almost every topic when trying to file an extension, then wouldn’t let me print evidence of the extension without a watermark. Overall it’s comparable to the other software, but at a better price. I just wish everything worked properly.

I have used your business premium software for a few years now. Its just confusing and likely wont use it in the future. The personal software is just fine.

the software was not intuitive .. not even help in how to attached the form that was required to be signed as part of the filing .. other softwares in this process guide you to attach the document ... the status is quiete vague and did not let you print the final status

The program is very good and user friendly for the most part. HUGE negative issue is accessing the program after Windows updates. Even after calling the help line...the person did not help getting it to work. I had to re-install on a different computer and lost some of the previous years data. Very frustrating.

Be Careful Landlords

Be careful Landlords. I am prepared to admit user error, but I have submitted my feedback to H&RB. Maybe it will do some good.
My main advice is don't change software. Stay with whatever has been working. I switched from TurboTax for my 2023 return. I did not realize that a Schedule C was made and reported instead of Schedule E. I overpaid two consecutive years and now in the process of redoing both years and how to carefully prepare Form 1040-X amendments.
Full transparency: 2023 was Premium. 2024 was Premium & Business that creates two versions which I found duplicate confusing. I used the 2024 Premium version, then discovered the Schedule C error but it was too late. I submitted the Federal return 'as is' to meet the April 2025 filing deadline, knowing it was better to overpay than short pay.
H&R Block software is Good. My experience has not been.
