software is OK but don't call support ..... they barely speak english and after 20 minutes trying to explain a fairly simple question I finally aft6er asking to speak with a supervisor had to give up and just end the call totally frustrated!
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is NO functionality allowing to attach pdf. files to form 1040, which is perfectly acceptable to the IRS under most circumstances (example: attaching a brokerage statement instead of completing form 8849 and entering every stock trade; some brokers are not compatible - TradeStation is one of them - with your software and data cannot be imported). There are missing forms; no form 7203 that is required with form 1040 if one owns S-Corps.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Some of the imports could work a lot better. For stock sales it often failed to get the basis cost and date correct even though the info was in the source document from Fidelity. Also doesn't handle ESPP shares that have been held for over 2 years either.

I bought this for this year's taxes because it is much cheaper than the one I have used for years. I like the fact that it has the simple and business together in the same package. The program is much more complicated than the one I'm used to. I think I will be using the one I'm used to next year, even tho the price s higher. I about had my hair pulled out by time tax season deadline came .
