I bought this to do Taxes for a Family Trust. I was able to muddle thru it but felt very uncertain as to whether I did it correctly. Directions/guidance provided for a trust was not clear enough. I had an account actually do and submit my Trust taxes.
Also, I had to submit an extension for my Dads personal taxes because i had not received a 1099. I was surprised i had to pay to submit the extension thru the software. Why doesn't an extension count toward one of the 5 Federal tax submissions i was entitled to

Needs to be available for Macs, needs to support e-filing for Colorado returns, and generally needs to be more user friendly, especially with QBI and Net Income Distributions. The printing options also need work.

Very consistent is there interface year to year

Use it very regularly. Very convenient continue the next year's.. biggest issue I have is trying to understand how to add a form. The help is a joke. You really should have an AI assistant at this day and age. That needs information section is very confusing. I submitted a K1 with a type m credit, It said it needed additional information but wasn't clear or what or how to do that just said to refer to my k1 statement which didn't have anything. User interface is just okay and never changes. Gets the job done every year. Going on 15+ years now.

The Software is becoming increasingly inadequate.
1) S Corp business program does not print since 2018. I have reported this many times. I have windows 10 and every other program on my lapto prints just fine ito pdf and printer. Business program just hangs.
2) Please incorporate NOL filing compliance with personal software, i.e., to be able to file form 172 with 1040.
3) Please allow pdf attachments with 1040 filing just like how business program allows.
