Thorough and Helpful - Navigation Could Improve

I found the tax prep walkthrough generally quite helpful.
One feature I would love to have available is better display of information as to where in the process I am.
By which I mean very specifically one more level of "breadcrumbs" as they're called. For example a tab with Federal has under it several tabs like Income, Credits, Deductions, etc. However WITHIN those tabs/categories I would have appreciated a list in small type across the top (or down the sidebar) of the pages within that tab. I found myself lost within a single tab and entered some information in the wrong place because I didn't do something like declare business expenditures or income under my business but for my general family. That sort of thing. A progress bar for each section might be helpful too. A big navigational concern was that sometimes the "BACK" button would go back one page and sometimes it would go back for a whole bunch of pages to the beginning of the section. That was quite frustrating and VERY confusing until I puzzled out what was happening.

First, I have been unable to electronically file my daughter and husbands return for three years. I get errors not matching prior year AGI or PIN. I try various combinations but nothing works. Extremely frustrating and little support on how to resolve.

On installation, the Personal Return was only in my Windows Menu. The business icon was only on the desktop.
On business side, I'm unable to electronically file a trust or LLC return. Trust and LLC return input is cumbersome.
Fees for filing state returns are abursury, and I have to buy a second state also. State filings should be included in the cost of the program.

Overall works, but has bugs and counterintuitive logic paths. Doesn't seem to improve a lot over the yeas after more than a decade of use. Guess I stick with it because the upload for last year's version works mostly - although the Business component didn't work last year.
Cons: Hard to import documents

I am a retired Enrolled Agent with 30+ years with H & R Block so I am very familiar with the software. But I was very disappointed after purchasing the software that I had to pay an additional fee to E file my state return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

The software interface is intuitive and the interviews help guide me through the process. I do wish it was a little less cumbersome to switch to the whole form and back to the interview. I also would like to see it maximize to the computer screen. There are sections where the text is challenging to read. Maximizing the window will help make the form and text easier for tired eyes.
