Purchased state program to use e-file option. H&R did not properly disclosed conditions under which e-file option was not available or significantly delayed especially nearing filing deadline.

I have been using this product for years and it gets a little better each year. I have a relatively complex return and the interview process and support info helps get me through the complexities. There is still room for improvement is some areas.

Personal software works well although leaves a few manual steps, eg bond premium. Also sometimes need to split up 1099 DIV/INT based on tax free vs taxable adjustments, and there is no tool to do this for you.
The business software is much less polished. Trying to fill out a 1041 return and it basically has you fill it out manually. NJ-1041 is even worse.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mostly good experience but was charged twice for my state filing and could not reach HRB by phone to fix it. A few odd glitches in program like not understanding that my residency for school district had not changed. But most of the interview goes smoothly and had no problems filing this year.
