I bought the premium edition for the past few years and generally have no issues loading my past years return onto the current return and just updating the figures I need but had nothing but issues with my business return because some of the entries defaulted to options that I don't use causing lots of errors to fix. I ended up creating 3 version and still got an irs error after submitting.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Every year I question whether I should purchase your premium business software because every year there is a problem at the very end of the process right before filing which requires that the software be uninstalled and reinstalled resulting in the loss of weeks worth of data input.

Business software didn't work after I downloaded it and it took THREE calls to finally get it to work. And then the business software doesn't link to the individual software, making me enter all the information from the K-1s. Really? If I didn't think Turbo Tax did the same thing, I would probably change. Heck, I may do it next year anyway.

The personal tax software was superb and worked well without flaw. I used the personal tax software last year as well and it is a great alternative to TurboTax.
I hate the Business offering. I've done my 1065 forms by hand in the past and it was much faster than using the Business offering. I spent so many hours tracking down warnings in the return that wouldn't allow me to proceed. There was one checkbox inadvertently checked early in the process that caused all kinds of warnings. There was no way to get beyond the warnings besides going through the entire interview again and finding the checkbox (about having the Business offering calculate business inflow/outflow even though it was not required based upon business size). Even after that I still had warnings that wouldn't allow me to Fed e-file. I ended up printing out and mailing. The Business offering tripled the time from last year doing it by hand. I'm going back to 1065 by hand next year.
So buy the personal offering separately and avoid the Business offering bundle.
