I have used H&RB Home & Business for about 20 years. This year's products were the worst ever. Business has always been fluky; this year was no exception. Home Premium has usually worked well; this year, however, it fouled up repeatedly ("excess accumulations" misfires, penalty calculations, errors and warnings, etc., etc.). Importing from last year's returns always used to be seamless; this year it would NOT work.
I'm now questioning if I'll return to H&RB software next year.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not really happy. Expected to file my taxes at the end of January. However, had to wait a month till enough updates posted till I could file at the end of February.

each year I can't carryforward the 1120S background information, stock loss carryforwards do not carryforward to the MA state return, the FMLA 1099 info was "burried" under unemployment

Important to understand Premium and Business are two separate programs. Business program is somewhat clunky. No problems downloading and installing. Be sure to update before electronic filing. Otherwise I was charged twice for state electronic filing. Have disputed duplicate charge with my credit card bank. Hassle! A bug that needs to be fixed by HR.
