Able to create multiple personal tax returns (ours, kids, and parents) and our multiple business tax returns. Imports bank and brokerage statements. Handles multiple business K-1 and small business (Schedule C) statements. Handles fluctuating quarterly estimated tax payments, which can avoid penalties. The interview process is straightforward and allows you to go back to prior topics. And it runs thru a validation process to check your return for errors.
That being said, it doesn't handle IRA to Roth conversions very well. And the import of prior year business taxes is not very intuitive if you upgraded your computer during the year. Hint: Open the prior year business return and create an export. Then copy that export to your new computer to import. Beyond me why they choose to hide that file.
Overall, it's a great time-saving tool! And a great value.
