In the business plan, we need to print out then scan back a signature sheet, yet this program does not do that. a "print" button is there, but nothing happens. And there is no "scan" option. Since we can't do this, have to print out and mail. I can and will be, in the future, just fill out blank tax sheets from the IRS site and mail in . why pay money to e-file if I cant e-file.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Usually no issues with HR Block. At the beginning of the season, the state forms were delayed for submitting; while on the last day the system failed to submit forms due that day. Luckily we were able to get them submitted later in the day and evening. Otherwise I love the package.

I filed my federal return Sunday night without any problem. Monday when I tried to file my state return it couldn't verify that my federal return was filed. It took several hours to verify this. Then I tried to file the state return which took 12 tries and about 4 hours. Each time my credit card was charged which scary. Eventually 11 of the charges went away so everything worked out ok except for the waste of my time.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

have been using this since 1999. While easy to use and benefits those with little or no tax knowledge, doing a social service by ringing tax prep to the masses, the product has shown no improvement over the past decade.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
