Personal works well, business is a little clunky

The personal side of the package worked well. I was able to do two different states with ease. The business side would not let me e-file. The notes in the checks file were too cryptic to understand and the help was not so. I had to file on paper.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Been using H&R Block Premium & Business software since 2007, & personal products before then. Used to use TurboTax, switched from that as it degraded. Business filing went great in Mar 2024, however on Apr 14th, personal tax filing failed as the software couldn't connect to H&R Block servers ( probably overwhelmed), which had never happened before. Unfortunately, every attempt to file fed & state together (over 30 times) generated a charge for the state filing fee, though 'it wasn't connecting to server.' It will get resolved I'm.sure,.but it was a PIA. H&R Block did get their server situation resolved on Apr 15th in afternoon so I did successfully file on time.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I'm using this product for my first-time S-Corp filing. There is very little guidance in how the pass-through items affect one's personal taxes. A prime example is the very poorly labeled attachment on the Schedule K that affects expenses. Worst of all was the broken process for filing an extension. I ended up using a separate vendor for this process.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for individual filing but horrible for busin

The business tax portion does not allow you to save your return to a select folder or drive. It just save it on your laptop anywhere it feels!! This is my biggest issue with your software over the years.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
