The personal part was good as usual. However, the business software was very inconvenient. It stays in an old format which the IRS does not accept even after software updates. And HR Block support cannot solve the issue. It turns out to be a delayed filing and cost extra money for paper filing.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use the Premium & Business version primarily for my Sub S corporation. Over the last several years, I have found mistakes in my return as a result of the interview process, and have to override things that I know are incorrect. I would try another product if one was offered at a reasonable price.

Wonderful program except for 1 issue..... and it took one of your specialists to find a way to fix it. It seems there is NO WAY to search for the block where I mis-entered my 2023 MRD. Minimum Reqd Distribution. No mater how I searched... the program will not locate this block where I entered it wrong.

A year ago my computer was hacked and Computer Help and Repair fixed it. The problem I have is that the 2022 software is empty. I was sure that I filed my taxes but I can not proof it. Now my 2023 taxes have been rejected.

I have used this software for a couple of years now, and this year I found myself getting infuriated and frustrated with the form 5695 for deductions for energy saving equipment installations. The software did not show ANY deduction for the heatpumps I had installed and if I tried to manage it manually it would have created issues with submitting my taxes. For this reason I am dropping what would have been 5 stars to 2. There was not assistance, chat nor phone could explain why this was happening, and when I checked on Reddit it seemed a number of people had this issues as well. Not good. I do not feel as though my rebate was maximized with the software this year.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
