downloaded it and found I didn't have time to do it, so I filed an extension, got a notice it was accepted, and I was charged for it. I then E-Filed a Federal and an Arizona return. I was charged for the AZ return. The IRS and AZS has no record of my returns. I did print out both returns. Now the program is missing from my computer
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Usually I get Deluxe but this time I had to get business to file 1041.
To fill the 1041, I was expecting it to provide an interview. NO. it asks me to open the whole form and file by myself.

I've been using H&R Block for personal and business tax returns for over 20 years. Overall, it's a great value and it's not from Intuit, two solid positives. I file LLC, S Corp, and C Corp returns, and the federal program is smooth as silk. However the state program (NC) is awful overall, with no guidance and poor navigation between form entry and form view. That has not improved at all over the years, although the software is more stable than it used be.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used HRB for many years, both in home and as a tax professional. After the filing fiasco of April 15th this year, I am not sure I will use it again. The issue was not explained well and when trying to ask questions on the chat, I was unable to get an answer.

As I reported last year, the navigation through the questions and the ability to link or jump between the questions and the IRS forms, this needs to be drastically improved. After exiting and re-entering the questionnaire, you have to start over or go through previous questions to get to the point you are looking for. Also, it is difficult to find entries in the whole process.
