I've been using it for years but continue to have issues with going to related data - i.e. comes from. There are fields calculated from the interview or other forms but the software does not tell me from where or how it's calculated. It should have full links, so I can see how any field was arrived at..
I bought tje software on line 3 weeks before the filing deadline. Several times I tried submitting my federal and state electronically. My credit card was charged multiple times even though the first several attemps rejected. I need erroneous charges credited to my card.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I normally don’t have any issues with the software but this year starting from 2 days before taxes were due I was not able to submit it due to bad gateway errors on your end. It was extremely disappointing that I literally had to stay home from work just to sit there and continually click submit until it finally went through.

I've used this for years and I'll probably use it again, but their servers failed the day before tax day and I couldn't submit my taxes. Granted, everything else about the software is great, and maybe I should have gotten all the taxes done earlier.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

When doing my taxes in the software, the back button did not function consistent. Doing my review after finishing all the inputs, there were business pages I did not fill out that were added with my name on them. I had only inputed the business my wife started, but it add me as having a business like hers also.
I have been using the product for 25 plus years. Deciding which product to use for small business and more complex personal tax filings is very confusing, and not as clearly stated or as easily read as it was in the past, especially when the product was better packaged and sold retail. The fact that the CD back-up is no longer sold is a game changer and I will look to other products in 2025. Very disappointing!
