1) it's scary when the program asks for the account numbers for your financial accounts. Please make it clear that enter account number is Optional.
2) then there is the "allow foreign countries to access your tax data". If there's a data breach in a foreign country and they have your account numbers, you're in big trouble. I had to call Help Desk to figure-out/back-track/back-out of the "allow foreign access" option.

Long time user and I like the software, but glitches on April 15th lead to my return not being filed electronically. I ended up paper filing my federal which screwed up my state filing. Not sure I will use this product again.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Have been using H&R software for several years. Most of the questions they ask are easy to understand and relate directly to the corresponding IRS form. Occasionally some of the less common forms have additional detail which the softwares question didn’t provide.

Bought this to do the taxes for my sole-member S-Corp, and found it to be very unhelpful. The majority of the forms it seems to basically just make you fill in the IRS forms with no contextual guidance or help. Clicking "form instructions" always seems to be a dead end, resulting in just having to Google the form to get to the IRS website's instructions. It has you fill in worksheets that aren't required, and then the verification check complains that you have those worksheets. Overall, a terrible piece of software for businesses. The Personal product did actually work pretty well. Had plenty of guidance and way less bugs.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
