less user friendly than previous years software

the premium software of 2023 tax year is less user friendly than previous years software, specially related with data correction. Also, the software was asking to enter address while the address was in W-2 in the Software. It seems that there are some glitche in the software.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

"Chat" is deliberately buried - "at the bottom of the help center"! - that's a lie. The software would not proceed to filing because of an error that "take me there" didn't take me to, and bc of another alert that said "You don't have to clear these verifications" - well, there was no way to clear them if I'd wanted to and no way to move past them. These three things need to be fixed. So stupid to hide chat from your clients.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs improvement

There are many questions in the 1099 forms that are very difficult to understand. This software was very frustrating to use for someone who has investment income and 1099-R and B forms, and is self-employed. Also, you don't make it clear that we don't need the business software if you are a sole-proprietor. I wasted money on buying this option.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, but why are QBI entries limited to 10

Been use this for many years. Just found out that 2021 + 2022 taxes had dropped my K-1 QBI (K-1 Ln 20 Z entries when I entered the 11th. Forms 8995 + 8995-1 were auto deleted and 1040 Ln 13 (QBI) was set "0". Why limit?? allow more K-1 QBI entries.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buggy software, filled with jargon

I experienced several bugs with the software and waited hours to get a hold of a rep. The descriptions of the entry fields are full of jargon and the "help/learn more" was unhelpful and required lots of googling instead. I have no idea if it imported my stock information correctly, but if it did, that part was easy.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

State filings for Schedule C require print filing?

Verified Purchase:Yes
I don’t like the way state filing for schedule C requires print to file my taxes every year. Also, Clean Vehicle tax credit is not even in the interview for filling deductions! Very poor opinion and may not buy next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
