For the second consecutive year, my E-file was rejected due to the prior year AGI mismatch, which is generated by your software. I then had to file on paper. That was 14 weeks ago, and I still have been unable to get the status of my refund from the IRS. Even my Congressman's office is unable to open a case due to IRS excuses about staffing and Covid issues. I will use a different product from now on.
Entering the data is tedious enough. But after entering our data for a married-filing-joint filing, we have to copy the file twice and manually delete each other's data to find out whether it's better to file separately. This year, we did file separately and the IRS wouldn't accept our married-filing-separate returns electronically from your software, claiming "incorrect 2021 AGI"! I check via my IRS login and the 2021 AGI was correct, but still couldn't file electronically. We had to file for an extension (your software pointed me to yet another different site), then print a mail the returns.
I've been using H&R Block home software since it first came out and have zero intention of trying another product. It's straight forward with ample resources and help if you need it (though I've never used a live help before). I will continue to use it in future.
