Does not include some NYS forms causing much extra work. The Federal handles complex situations well. Business returns have improved greatly the past several years, LLC’s, SCorp, Trusts
Does okay, but is difficult to use balance sheet, depreciation, and partnership income features. Clunky on these items. These areas definitely need improvement.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Being a former HRB Tax Pro, I LOVE your software!! One thing though for the 2019 software I ran into this year: The "Home Office" portion of the Premium was a bit confusing (not enough guidance), especially on how to go about entering Mortgage Interest, unrelated to the home/home office (ie: as in Resort Prop) on the Schedule A. I spent OVER an hour trying to figure out how to add the non-home Resort interest to the Schedule A, in which I couldn't locate because the Schedule A never did didn't pop up for me to view which was TOTALLY FRUSTRATING!! This section COULD be a bit more User Friendly with/in guidance purposes...... Outside of this though EVERYTHING else worked like a CHARM!!!
The partnership part of this program is a nightmare. Doing the return on paper would be easier. It appears to be the only do it yourself program that is affordable. I have used it for yeears and never have been able to efile the return as there is always an issue. The program is cumbersome and user unfriendly.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
