easy to use. handles lots of scenarios

Very easy to use. Excellent help for all items. Handles all types of personal, business scenarios. Imports for 1099s make it fast. The "built in" data quality audits always make sure your data entries make sense, are valid and consistent across forms automatically. The interview pages also show the form data they automatically enter for you as you go through the interview. Great choice

For me, this software is what I need to get things done for my personal and business taxes. It's not always a quick process, however, as you improve your understanding of things (your records, receipts, etc) -- it becomes much more intuitive. It may not be a great fit for every self-employed business owner or DIY tax payer, but the tools are solid. Printing what you need if you are mailing your forms is not always intuitive & I like the option of filing electronically.

Much better than all the other software

I have used other tax preparation software for many years, but this year for the first time I used H&R Block. It was much better quality, much easier, and much more thorough than other software. I recommend everybody use it.

Good premium program, business software stinks

I filed our taxes with the premium program, tried to use the business software, it would not allow me to import last year's files, was clunky, I gave up. Since I couldn't get into it, and the premium software has Schedules C & F, I don't know what added benefit the business program has. Did I pay too much? Pros (below) for premium, cons (below) for business software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
