Pretty straight forward. A little more involved.

Used HR for nearly 2 decades. 2018 was a nightmare. Software will no longer save things such as bank routing number, account info from federal to state forms. Constant repetition. Attempting to account for MEDICAL INSURANCE where every month required multiple repeated entries was a literal NIGHTMARE>
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I have been using HR Block for years but was disappointed this year when I owed over $1000 and the program could not give me the right method of payment option which was Online Payment Arrangement with IRS recommended by Form 9465
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst tax software I have ever used! Would never buy again regardless of cost.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Easy and Professional backup

I have been using the H&R Premium version for the past several years. I own a duplex and live in one half. I feel 100% confident using this product vs going to an actual person. I save time and money. Great prompts and it leads you and double checks.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
