I've used this software for years. It makes preparing your taxes easier. I do wish that they would fix the issue regarding depreciation of assets and transferring information from the Federal taxes to the California tax preparation. The program doesn't transfer the information and it requires you to input the information manually. If you aren't a tax specialist it makes the process difficult and confusing. It's making me consider switching software.

I’ve been using it for many years. The only issue I had was that some of the questions are sometimes a bit confusing. I wonder if they do user-experience testing.

This is my 4th year with H&R Block. There a few spots where I had to consult my AI to explain what information was being asked for because I didn't understand the vocabulary. A simple glossary would be helpful. Beyond that, the experience was positive. Block stands behind their software and provides for making help available if the IRS isn't satisfied.
