This was my first use of H&R Block's software. It was difficult and slow to find less frequently used forms, worksheets,etc. I had 1099-SSA, 2 1099-Rs , 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B, AND K-1. Also, Estimated Tax Payments. Interview questions were sometimes vague. It has the potential to be more intuitive and easier and faster.
On the other hand, Block's software was nearly as smooth as Intuit's revised TurboTax for 2024.

It was less helpful and less intuitive than it's been in the past. Did not like the changes at all. I'll likely try another brand of tax software next year, after 25 years of using this one.

correcting errors is like playing whack-a-mole

I've been using this for several years. Sometimes everything goes well. not this year. Had simple issues that could not be corrected simply. Kept being told that I could change the field or it would not e-file. So I would "jump to related field" and was told the same. I did the same and eventually ended up where I started. Getting too old for this. I think I will go to an accountant next year.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
