Customer was good when you reached someone. I had an issue and was placed on hold and transferred and placed on hold again. Your contact list should be a little more descriptive. The program itself was easy to use, printing on a Mac had some challenges finally figured out there was a function to choose to print a form the way it should be printed. Form finding was not as easy as it had been in previous versions (years).

The software was good and easy to use till submission of my tax return. During the last check, it kept bringing up issues, which were not incorrect. After several iterations of this - and based on my previous experience of filing with H&R Block tax advisor, I realized that the software has a glitch and doesn't allow more than FIVE copies of form 8938 to be included in the tax return. This is a long term software glitch which causes issues. I don't see any reason for this limitation. I now have to file an amended 1040 with the additional copies of 8938, in order to be compliant with IRS!!! Not acceptable.
On the positive side, the software is easy to use, it provides all the worksheets and calculations and allows you to see the filled forms, which was very helpful.
The online software support was average.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a long time user of the Premium version and appreciate the ability to file self employment income. I will say I am under impressed with the availability to get answers to tax questions when needed. The chat feature is very limited and am unable to reach any assistance by phone.

Hr block sucks. Overly complicated, worse UI than the competitor and more expensive than other options. Chat support is useless. Use something else

Doing taxes is getting so confusing. I was having some problems locating where to enter certain 1099s. Doing a search wasn't always helpful. Otherwise, the program worked as it should, and I was able to e-file this year unlike last year, when I had to mail my return due to a certain form. This year I had no problem even though I had to fill out the form again this year.
