I've used H&R Block tax software since the late 90s. This year was the easiest to use ever
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have spent all day entering my rental expenses and income, plus investments etc. I completed my return, savings as I went. Completed the state return....Its all gone... When I started to print it.........it wasn't there. I even lost the personal info I had imported from Turbotax. I have used Turbotax for years, but early on the reviews for this year's premier indicated problems. It's 10:30 PM and I have to start all over.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using H&R Block software for taxings since it first appeared and I have always been impressed with how straightforward and complete the software takes me through the necessary schedules and calculates my best options
Pros: Maximizes refund

I have used H & R Block software for years and have always been pleased with it. I never could figure out how to include the scanned QBI Statement for Safe Harbor with my taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Excellent Software

My wife has a successful business that she enjoys and that I help with occasionally as needed since I am retired. This makes for a complicated tax return. I had no software glitches, and the software led me through the entire complicated process to successful submission and acceptance of both my federal and NC state returns for nine years running, Thank you to H&R Block.
