I am glad I stuck with H&R block program this year...It went pretty smoothly . .. If I recall , they made some awful negative changes to last years program and was hesitant to use block for this years taxes. Thank you Block for going back to better format .
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Your software can't be used in Windows 11 for the last three years, and I had to pull out an old computer with Windows 10 in order to do my taxes. Also, in one of the taxes I did this year for my daughter, your software was unable to add the income lines for a disabled person with no W2 income.

The section of the software that deals with retirement distributions was very umclear. It didn't clearly describe a full "required" distribution from an IRA versus an "excess distribution".
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

It did everything we needed it to do. Would've been 5 stars had it not been the software's inability to get my resident status right. Every year I'm promted to correct resident status on the final return before I get the all clear to send it.

Need to serious consider the issue I reported here

Somehow this software is easy to use. But it imported the 1099B lot by lot and asked me to edit (or check) every single lot. I had to go back and forth over 700 times to review and check. If it imported by "Group", it will make me easy and much faster or let me bypass the lots of editing. Now I am considering should I go back to Turbo Tax.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
