I've been using H&R block tax software for probably 20 years or more. Although I hate doing my taxes it makes it so much easier to do it. After the first year everything easily transfers to the next year to save time. I have never had any problems with the software in all my years of using it. I would recommend it.

you had 3-4 extra options to buy with the package-click if you want-except the last one had to be unclicked, charged me for something I didn't want and couldn't undo. irritating enough to look for different tax software

The interview process works great. The thing I have problems with is the help process. I had a capital gains loss that did not show up on this year's return when I went to help it told if it was transferred last year, it will automatically transfer this year. It didn't. That amounted to a mistake in my return. and several hours verifying if it was really transferred.. It wasn't. It was a pretty costly mistake.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
