I've been using TaxCut / HR Block programs every year for over 30 years. it allows me access to any form with information and guided instructions for using them. It helps me plan for next year, and I can watch the total tax refund or amount due change as I complete each part of my filing. It is very sophoisticated, and warns if you try to file something outside of the norms. It is much cheaper than using an accountant, and if you are self-employed, I highly recommend trying it out for yourself.
