Not happy with this year's software package. Considerably higher price. "This interview is not complete." followed by a link taking you to the wrong website. Really poor. You need to do better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thorough but, as always, a bit wonky on the bugs

It’s a begrudging 4 stars …. I’d rate 7/10, due to some wonky issues with different text fields not allowing copy/paste sometimes, and other weird issues that seems to honestly be normal for software like this, anyways.

I've been using HR Block tax software for years. It's always a pleasure to use. I have my employment, my wife's employment, social security, a farm business. The software walks you through everything. And if you used it the previous year, it uploads that info into it. So you don't have to try to remember every little detail from year to year. I love it!

I bought this package in December and put all my data in and then had to wait for the updates in Jan and Feb before I could finish. The Federal program worked fine. The California State program was a little confusing. I needed to talk with someone to get clarification and could not get an expert. I finally figured it out.

I am a Contractor, it was not obvious where my materials costs where entered. When I went to the online chat, the person was no help, they directed me to the help section which ran me right back around and left me nowhere. I made a phone call to a person not affilated with the company at all, and in 30 seonds they were able to direct me to what I was missing. Other than feeling like someone who does my type of work was an after thought to the software, it still worked out ok.
