To bad not including city income tax

I had to but another software to prepare my Detroit income tax return
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues

too complicated for the basic user.

I am a cpa and know that there are fields that do not allow amounts to be entered correctly. There are fields that if you do enter info, they will not be rejected during efile but your software says it will. Software does not have good AMT schedules. W-2 entry is archaic.
Pros: Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues

I downloaded it from the disk they sent me and the program is nothing but trouble. Shuts down without warning; you lose whatever you have entered; calculations keep changing so you wonder whether anything is correct when you get to the end.
will never use again. I have used in the past and it worked fine, but no longer. Someone has really messed this software up.

Limited e-filing capability

The software is good, but the experience is negative because of limiting e-filings for multiple states. I live in KS and work in MO so I have to file returns for both states. I am willing to pay for the e-filing but find it EXTREMELY frustrating that I can't e-file both states with Federal

Where's My Money?

Software is ok to use. This year I opted to send $500 of my refund to an Amazon gift card to receive the 5% bonus. My refund was direct deposited 8 days ago but I haven't seen the email with the gift card yet. There's no way to check it's status.
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Tough time using.

AMT line kept asking for input-something the program should have done. Schedule E keep insisting on a value for rent received- even though I had indicated the unit was not rented in 2017. Would not let me e-file until I eliminated Schedule E, also something the program should have done. I see no credit posted for rental expenses- perhaps because of non renting but the program should have explained that.

very bad to say the least. It crashed even when I tried to save a file. Crash when tried to do backup.

Terrible printing

This problem happed on two different returns.
Won't print the 1040 form when asked to print the forms for filing. Keeps adding the 8938 form even though it's completely blank and I checked no foreign holdings/investments. When you write the file to a PDF, I didn't get all the files required for filing. When you write the file with worksheets you do get everything. Had to go in and manually select the forms to print to get a complete set.
Used HR Block software for years. Very disappointing this year.
