The biggest problem I have with HRB software is that the screen view can not be enlarged. , making it very difficult to read the texts on the screen.

Charged twice for state filing

I had to resubmit my e-file for a missed identify pin which the software did not prompt me for - and I got charged again for the state. Really not right!

I've used TT for many years, and it, too, is a good program. But in recent years, they have greatly tightened up the system requirements. From W7 they demanded W10, then W11. We have several older systems that work perfectly with W10, but TT wouldn't install.
I understand the need for periodic system "improvements" but it's become a joke with many in the industry that good old Windows7 was a very secure and robust OS, and that Microsoft keeps introducing new operating systems primarily to keep revenue flowing. Please consider jumping off that train and include older OS versions in future releases. I think you will get many more defections from TT.

I have been using this software for many years. I like how it walks me through everything. Very easy to use. I like the meter at the back that lets me look for red flags and fix them.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast

Generally Good, Frustrating Review

For some reason,when it came time to review for filing, I had to go through multiple rounds of re-entering such things as my address for W-2s and mortgage worksheet numbers that were already populated earlier. Every review for errors turned up a new set of errors, all of them requiring re-entry of data already entered.

Several of the questions they ask are not clear. eFiling was rejected twice but no clear reason was given and no solution was provided.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
