I thought it was easy to use but I had an issue where it said that there was a problem and my taxes could not be filed electronically. So, I had to see a tax preparer, who said that everything was close to correct but I had put something in the wrong space (I only answered the questions) and that was the holdup. He told me to just delete it and then it worked fine.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Poor compatibility with Apple Macintosh computers

Software does not update properly on Macintosh computers. State tax component does not download properly on Macintosh computers. I have had the same problem for each of the last 3 years since switching from Windows to Apple Macintosh.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
