I use different schedules due to rental property, self employment, and personal mortgage. I love the way it carries over figures needed from the prior year and also generic information from the prior year.
It is cheaper than a person doing your taxes for you, if you have to do small business or long form you need to know what categories to use for what expenses. If you have questions don't expect a person to help you, you are on your own to do your taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
