I[ve been using H and R Block tax prep software for about seven or eight years. It's easy to install and easy to import last year's returns. I have a small business of my own so I use the premium software, but also use it to do my children's taxes, both federal and state. Great value and it saves us a lot of time.

Every year it get harder to find the correct places. Ivan fill out a hand written form in lest then 25% of the time it takes to use your program.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I'd expect the Premium version to cover all my needs but unfortunately for sine items, like schedule K, I had to do my own research to get my taxes done. I'd expect the Premium version to cover all aspects. The CA state software has similar issues. I plan to switch to the competitor next year to see if it's any better.
