I think it has improved over previous editions, except for the way it handled sales tax, which did not use an interview. It still does not handle homes with two offices well. I needs more explanation of some input items. I found the Help tab useless. I had to go online and use Google to get answers easily.
I've used HR Block Premium for I think as long as there has been tax software. My wife I use it for our Schedule C (small sole proprietor) businesses. It makes what would otherwise be an overwhelmingly complex task relatively easy. Having a small business means a lot more work at tax time, but consistently year after year HR Block has served us very very well.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast
