Can’t do k1 forms. Can’t read 1099 pdfs from many brokers. Can’t import directly from chase bank! Doesn’t warn you to enter missing info when importing w2 until the very end.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The software was very user friendly. My return was completed in no time. There was one big problem, the software asked me to enter my tax prepayments even though the information was downloaded from my financial institutions. This resulted in double counting my prepayments, which resulted in a huge refund which would had been followed by an audit of my returns if I had not caught the mistake.
Unfortunately I was not able to file free state return without downloading some random print software. Could not get that to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve used TaxCut/H&R Block for about 20 years, the Deluxe version. This year I went with Premium due to inheritance issues that I wanted to be sure I got right. I’ve always loved the product and if a drawback at all it has been getting phone help when needed it. This year I already had already paid for and installed Deluxe but realized I needed to upgrade to Premium. There were technical difficulties with that but I was thrilled to get thorough and patient help with what did take about 30 minutes for her to solve. Went great and filing was smooth as silk. Thanks!
