I have been using the Premium Software for about 15 years and have not had any import problems. It would not import Charles Schwab investment information. Schwab told me it was your problem and I contacted your office several times and never got any support. As a result I had to enter loads of stock transactions manually. I was able to import Edward Jones and TD Ameritrade with no problem
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Completed my 2023 return, it was accepted, and I received my refund after about three weeks. Same happened for 2022, but for 2021 and 2000 it took months before IRS sent me a form letter listing possible problems with my return but were not specific or helpful in any way, just confusing. Both of those years they reduced the amount of my refund and I never understood why. I need to be able to feel assured that I'm doing everything right before filing, but I don't get that feeling. My Dad had similar issues in 2021 and 2020, and he was an accountant. Filing the simple 1040 before computers and tax software was the good old days....

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Could not file electronically-very disappointed.

I have used HRB for yrs. This yr was very disappointing. I could not file electronically and HRB could not tell me why after 2 1/2 days on the phone with 1st and 2nd level support. Had same items as previous yrs. Will seriously consider other tax software.

I am happy overall but find it very frustrating when you want to change a value on a return the hoops you need to jump through to do this. Also, to be able to find where a value was intially entered can be a challenge as well. I think i have spent more time on this aspect of completing a return. Maybe it is my experience with the software, albeit i have been using for 15+ years. I do understand it is built for the general consumer and not the tax professional, I don't want to pay the price that they charge for the professional software.
